17th edition of DIALOGUES Calcutta International LGBTQIA+ Film & Video Festival.
17th Calcutta International LGBTQIA+ Film and Video Festival: Dialogues was there from 17th to 19th November. Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute were full of crowd during that time with amazing crowd while the space radiated rainbow colours. Three days of schedule was packed with numerous work of documentary, short films and movies made by national and international directors and producers. Many artists who were involved with those pieces of work were present in the festival and during the conversation session they share their vision while the audience showed enthusiastic responses. Starting with an opening ceremony on 17th Dialogues ended with a closing ceremony where all the participants who contributed to made those days successful were celebrated and showed gratitude. With small stalls of health camp by Kolkata Pride Month, Book stall of Sappho for Equality, jewellery stalls, food stall was there for visitors to spend their days with joy and togetherness. With Dialogues, the starting of our journey of pride month has been started and we are looking upon to create more sense of joy, justice and celebration of our pride through upcoming events.
